Woodland Camping is a campsite for tents only 10 miles north of Edinburgh which inspite of its proximity to the City, offers a relaxing opportunity to "get back to nature". The site is set in beautiful rural location, close to woodland, with wildlife encouraged - watch badgers in the special badger hide. The site has designated campfire sites and tubs of wood can be bought so you can easily experience the initimacy of sitting around your own campfire. Facilities are basic as the emphasis is "getting back to nature", however cold water, an environmentally friendly sawdust toilet, recycling facilties, WI-FI, and shared use of a fridge/freezer is provided.
Prices:
- First night £6 per person per night (all ages), £6 per car (initial entry).
- Second night: Under 2's free, Children half price, no vehicle charge
