Catherine Hughes welcomes babies and their carers to Tiny Talk, baby-signing classes in Nuthall, Nottingham. Catherine started to sign with both her children when they were tiny babies. Babies have a lot to say and because they can’t speak, it can be frustrating - for you and them! That’s why thousands of parents and babies across the UK are learning to baby sign with TinyTalk.
The classes are fun and friendly, and aim to encourage and support your baby’s speech and language understanding and expression, through songs, signs, books, musical instruments, props and puppets. Classes consist of half an hour singing popular nursery rhymes and action songs with appropriate signs, followed by half an hour social time with toys for the babies and refreshments (including chocolate biscuits obviously!) for the adults.
Class times: Thursdays 10:15-11:15am. All classes are pre-booked and run as a course of 12 weeks, however you’re welcome to join at any time - just get in touch to check availability.
Prices: £4.50 per family per session
